Recommendation is to avoid using the year nomenclature as this
information is already encoded in the git repo. Avoids needing to
repeatly update.
Also updates AUTHORS.txt from current repo with contributor names
These strings aren't actually used right now, but they may be used
in the future, so don't actually remove them but silence the error that
they aren't used.
