Recommendation is to avoid using the year nomenclature as this
information is already encoded in the git repo. Avoids needing to
repeatly update.
Also updates AUTHORS.txt from current repo with contributor names
Saves about 30% of the time to open the sim model
dialog. Pretty much all the remaining time is in PEGTL,
and that's even with short-circuiting it for most param
values.
