4024a15a17 Don't reference stack variables from a long-life lambda. 
In particular, a lambda for conditional menus should
never capture more than `[this]`.  Even the tool's
frame pointer could change.

188ffda029 Add a 90°-only mode for polygon creation 
Sometimes, you don't want those 45° corners in your nice, clean zones.
This adds an additional mode that can be selected, cycling through
free-angle, 45° angle and 90° angle constraints

0b2d4d4879 Revise Copyright statement to align with TLF 
Recommendation is to avoid using the year nomenclature as this
information is already encoded in the git repo.  Avoids needing to
repeatly update.

Also updates AUTHORS.txt from current repo with contributor names

3ad92bc8db ShowModal: override method in DIALOG_SHIM 
All DIALOG_SHIM dialogues which should be modal, has a problem on OSX
that parent could be lost. So call ReparentModal to fix this before
calling the base ShowModal method. This should fix the problem when
modal window has been hidden when windows were switched.

9963b9dd9f TOOL_INTERACTIVE: only create the context menu when we are running in GUI mode 
TOOL_MENU::m_menu was unconditionally created by the TOOL_INTERACTIVE constructor, resulting in crashes if
we wanted to run the TOOLs in headless  mode, e.g. in unit tests. This commits makes
the creation of the menu object dependent on Pgm::IsGui().

Add toggleHV45Mode item to the measure tool's context menu 
The behavior of the measure tool is influenced by the
horizontal/vertical/45-degree mode, but the context menu of the measure
tool lacks an option to toggle this mode. In contrast, the drawing
tools are also affected by this mode, and their context menu has the
item to toggle this mode.

1047130046 Push most of footprint chooser into PANEL_FOOTPRINT_CHOOSER. 
Create 2 wrappers for it: DIALOG_FOOTPRINT_CHOOSER and
FOOTPRINT_CHOOSER_FRAME.  The first now gets called from wxGrid
editors, text button editors (such as Change Footprints), etc.

Retire FOOTPRINT_VIEWER_FRAME_MODAL.  FOOTPRINT_VIEWER_FRAME still
exists, but has very few uses at this point.

22b733209d Fail GAL on its header leaking audit 
Maybe we should rethink directly accessing GAL so much, but at least 600 files didn't need GAL leaked into them due to view_overlay.h

9304607624 TOOL_EVENT: make command string non-optional 
We're getting segfaults in places where this isn't checked. Also, add
some asserts so we can catch bad tool push/pop.

Removes all uses of GetCommandStr() and makes it private.

8eee766791 Fix Cvpcb DISPLAY_FOOTPRINTS_FRAME: some display options not working. Commit 5e4a7041 moved 4 settings used in Cvpcb to a PCBNEW_SETTINGS struct. But in Cvpcb, this config struct does not exist. So these 4 settings are now moved to a section (PCB_VIEWERS_SETTINGS_BASE) common to Cvpcb and Pcbnew config. 2022-07-23 18:45:13 +02:00

da79a3dd69 Option graphics limited to 45deg in creation: separate options for brd and fp editors.

092cdc0bb5 Move 45° limit to hotkey 
This assigns the "Tab" key to a general pcbnew 45° limitation.  Limit
can be enabled/disabled using context menu as well.

Removed the user preference for 45° limitation on graphic lines as that
is overlapping with the general limitation, which is not an editing
preference so much as a temporary adjustment to tool action.

6898dadd1c Don't activate measure tool when it's already running. 
In this case it's reactivated when the move command ends; only the
move command was ended because of activating the measure tool so it
gets activated twice.
